Charles Martinet (P20)

Charles Martinet was born in San Jose, CA and lived here until he was 12 years old. Alas, he moved away in 1968, thus missing the video game revolution. However, had he still been in the area in 1977 he would have witnessed the birth of a whole new kids entertainment venue: Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre. Although the original Chuck E. Cheese location closedmany years ago, the largest Sann Jose arcade is still located in a Chuck E. Cheese.

Why is it sad that Charles Martinet wasn't able to visit Chuck E. Cheese's as a kid? Well, because Charles Martinet went on to play the role (voice) of Mario (of Mario Bros fame) not only in various television cartoons, but also in every Mario game created by Nintendo.

We've brought Charles to Chuck E. Cheese at long last and encourage you to join him for goofy music, mediocre pizza, and the largest collection of video games in Santa Clara County.

Clues:

Once you arrive at Chuck E. Cheese go around back and visit the 2-story tall Chuck in his glass cage. He used to have a friend to either side (always reminded me of a crucifixion scene when I was a child), but they're now gone. The tribute to Mr. Martinet is in the cage to Mr. Cheese's left.
